About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Macon

If you know Macon, you know how it sits right at the center of the state, the Bibb County seat where I-75 meets I-16, about halfway between Atlanta and the Florida line. That middle-of-everything spot has always made it the gathering place for the surrounding counties. We set up on Bass Rd over on the city's northwest side, near the I-75 access, so middle-Georgia neighbors don't have to fight into the busier core of town to get certified. Miracle Leaf® is a doctor's office for your Georgia Low THC Oil Registry certification, not a dispensary. Georgia's program allows low-THC oil capped at 5 percent THC, and we handle the physician side of it.

A gathering point for middle Georgia

The I-75 and I-16 interchange makes Macon the natural meeting place for patients across middle Georgia, from the towns south along the interstate to the neighborhoods around the city and the rural counties that ring it. We picked Bass Rd, close to the northwestern interstate access, so folks driving in from out of county can reach us without crossing through the heart of town.

What the physician evaluation covers

A Georgia-licensed physician goes through your medical background and decides whether your condition qualifies under state law. If it does, the doctor files a written certification with the Georgia Department of Public Health, and the state then issues your Low THC Oil Patient Registry card. That card, issued by the state, is what later lets you buy. We don't handle any product here.

Bring with you

Bring a Georgia photo ID or other proof of a Georgia address, since Georgia honors no out-of-state cards, plus your medical records. Most Georgia qualifying conditions, severe cancer, ALS, seizure disorders, sickle-cell disease and others, require severe or end-stage status, so records that show the severity of your condition help the physician with the review. Not sure what counts? Call us first and we'll tell you exactly what to bring.

Certification here, purchase at a dispensary

Under O.C.G.A. 16-12-200, the certification and the purchase are two separate steps handled by different parties. We supply the physician certification that produces your registry card. The low-THC oil itself is sold at a separately licensed Georgia dispensary, an independent business, once you hold the card.

State registry verification

The Georgia Department of Public Health administers the Low THC Oil Patient Registry. Confirm program rules, qualifying conditions, and registry contact details through the Georgia DPH Low THC Oil Patient Registry. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. The physician evaluation itself takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the Macon office a dispensary?
No. The Bass Rd office is a physician certification clinic. A Georgia-licensed doctor evaluates whether you meet a qualifying condition and, when appropriate, certifies you for the Georgia Low THC Oil Patient Registry. Low-THC oil is purchased separately at a state-licensed dispensary.
Where is the Macon clinic located?
The clinic is on Bass Rd in Macon, in Bibb County in central Georgia near the Interstate 75 corridor. Macon sits roughly midway between Atlanta and the Florida line, so the location is convenient for patients across central Georgia.
What should I bring to my Macon appointment?
Bring a valid Georgia-issued ID or other proof of Georgia residency, plus any medical records that document a qualifying condition. Georgia does not provide reciprocity, so registry certification requires that you be a Georgia resident.
What conditions qualify under the Georgia program?
Under O.C.G.A. 16-12-200 and following sections, qualifying conditions include severe or end-stage cancer, ALS, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, sickle-cell disease, and others. Most conditions require severe or end-stage status, and a Georgia-licensed physician makes the determination.
How does the Georgia low-THC oil registry process work?
A Georgia-licensed physician submits a written certification to the Georgia Department of Public Health Low THC Oil Patient Registry. The state issues a registry ID card. With the card, the patient may purchase low-THC oil, capped at 5% THC by weight, from a state-licensed dispensary.
