About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Port St. Lucie

If you know Port St. Lucie, you know it grew from a 1960s planned-development map into one of the largest cities on Florida's Treasure Coast, a vast grid of residential blocks laid out across St. Lucie County between the Atlantic beaches and the Florida Turnpike. We set up on SW Bayshore Blvd, right inside that residential heart instead of out on the coastal highways, so folks don't have to drive far from home to get certified. Miracle Leaf® is a doctor's office for your Florida medical marijuana certification, not a dispensary.

Right in the neighborhoods

Because Port St. Lucie was platted as one enormous residential subdivision, the neighborhoods spread out a long way from the commercial centers, and getting around means leaning on a handful of through-roads like Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie Blvd, and the US-1 frontage to the east. We picked SW Bayshore Blvd to land right in the middle of all that, so you don't have to drive up to Fort Pierce or down to Stuart just for an evaluation.

What happens at your visit

One of our physicians sits down with you, reviews your records, and decides whether your condition is recognized under Florida law. If it qualifies, that decision is recorded as a certification in the state registry, which is the step that lets you register with the state. We see new patients and renewals both.

What to bring

Bring a Florida photo ID or other proof of a Florida address, plus any records that document your condition. If you only live on the Treasure Coast part of the year, bring proof of your current Florida address too, since the registry checks residency before it approves you. Not sure what counts? Give us a call first and we'll tell you exactly what to bring.

A clinic, not a treatment center

Under Fla. Stat. 381.986, Florida keeps the physician certification and the retail purchase as two separate licensed steps. We handle the certification here. You buy the product afterward at a state-licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, a separate business, once the state approves your registration.

State physician registry verification

The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. The physician evaluation itself takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Miracle Leaf® specializes in guiding patients through each step of the process during and after the appointment. Miracle Leaf® has over 8 years of experience working with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR).

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the Port St. Lucie office a dispensary?
No. The SW Bayshore Blvd office is a physician certification clinic. A qualified doctor reviews whether you meet a qualifying condition under Florida law and, when appropriate, records a certification in the state registry. Any cannabis product is purchased separately at a licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center.
Where is the Port St. Lucie clinic located?
The clinic is on SW Bayshore Blvd in Port St. Lucie, a residential city in St. Lucie County on Florida's Treasure Coast. The location is convenient for patients across Port St. Lucie and the nearby Treasure Coast communities between Stuart and Fort Pierce.
What should I bring to my Port St. Lucie appointment?
Bring a valid Florida-issued ID or other proof of Florida residency, plus any medical records documenting a qualifying condition. The state registry verifies residency before approving an application, so seasonal residents should bring proof of a current Florida address.
What conditions qualify under the Florida program?
Florida Statute 381.986 lists qualifying conditions including cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV and AIDS, PTSD, ALS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis, plus a comparable-class clause and chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying condition. A physician determines eligibility during the evaluation.
How does the registry process work after my visit?
After a qualifying physician records your certification, you apply to the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry and pay the state application fee. Once the state approves your registration, your registry identification lets you purchase from any licensed treatment center in Florida. Miracle Leaf® specializes in guiding patients through each step of the process during and after the appointment, with over 8 years of experience working with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry.
