Jacksonville Beach certification clinic
Miracle Leaf® Jacksonville Beach Medical Marijuana Doctors
We're a neighborhood certification clinic a few blocks back from the ocean on 3rd St S, right in the heart of the Duval County beaches. We see folks from Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, and Atlantic Beach for the Florida medical marijuana evaluation and walk you through the state registry step by step. About this clinic
About Miracle Leaf® Jacksonville Beach
If you live out on the beaches, you know the drill: 3rd St S is the main run through town, a few blocks back from the sand, and that's where you'll find us in the A1A corridor. We set up here on the island side on purpose, for our neighbors in Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, and Atlantic Beach who live out on the barrier island, cut off from the rest of Duval County by the Intracoastal Waterway. Miracle Leaf® is a doctor's office for your Florida medical marijuana certification, not a dispensary. We handle the evaluation that gets you into the state registry.
We kept it on the beaches side
To get from the beaches over to mainland Jacksonville, you've got to cross the Intracoastal on Beach Blvd, Atlantic Blvd, or J. Turner Butler. We didn't want our beaches neighbors fighting over the bridges toward downtown or the Southside just to get certified, so we put the office right here on 3rd St. It's an easy reach from the oceanfront neighborhoods and the Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach lines just to the north.
What happens at your visit
One of our physicians sits down with you, goes over your medical history, and decides whether your condition is one Florida recognizes. If it qualifies, that decision is recorded as a certification in the state registry, which is the step that lets you register with the state. We see new patients and folks coming back to renew, both.
What to bring
Bring a Florida photo ID or other proof of your Florida address, plus any records that document your condition. If you only live at the beach part of the year, bring proof of your current Florida address too, since the registry checks residency before it approves you. Not sure what counts? Give us a call first and we'll tell you exactly what to bring.
A clinic, not a treatment center
Under Fla. Stat. 381.986, Florida keeps the medical certification and the retail purchase as two separate licensed steps. We handle the certification here. You buy the product afterward at a state-licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, a separate business, once the state approves your registration.
State physician registry verification
The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Preparing for Your Appointment
What to bring
- Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
- Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
- List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.
Before you arrive
- Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
- Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
- Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.
During the visit
A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. A typical visit takes 30 to 45 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.
After the visit
Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.
