About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Orlando

If you know Orlando, you know SoDo: the South of Downtown stretch of S Orange Ave that's grown up around the Orlando Health hospital campus into one of the city's busiest medical and retail strips. That's where you'll find us, right on S Orange Ave just below the downtown core. We set up in the middle of the metro instead of way out in the suburbs so folks don't have to drive across town to get certified. Miracle Leaf® is a doctor's office for your Florida medical marijuana certification, not a dispensary.

Right in the middle of the metro

S Orange Ave is one of the metro's main north-south streets, running straight into downtown and crossing the big east-west routes that tie Orange County's neighborhoods together. With the Orlando Health campus just up the road and the I-4 and SR-408 ramps close by, we're easy to reach whether you're coming from the lakefront neighborhoods near downtown or the suburbs out along the Orange Ave corridor.

What happens at your visit

One of our physicians sits down with you, reviews your medical history, and decides whether your condition is recognized under Florida law. If it qualifies, that decision is recorded as a certification in the state registry, which is the step that lets you register with the state. We see new patients and renewals both.

What to bring

Bring a Florida photo ID or other proof of a Florida address, plus any records that document your condition. If you're only here part of the year, bring proof of your current Florida address too, since the registry checks residency before it approves you. Not sure what counts? Call us first and we'll tell you exactly what to bring.

A clinic, not a treatment center

Under Fla. Stat. 381.986, Florida keeps the medical certification and the retail purchase as two separate licensed steps. We handle the certification here. You buy the product afterward at a state-licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, a separate business, once the state approves your registration.

State physician registry verification

The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. A typical visit takes 30 to 45 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

  • I had a longer wait than expected but I really enjoyed the environment. They have free massage chairs and everyone in the office was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm very happy I changed from my previous doctor, which was more expensive but didn't have free massage chairs and the employees weren't as friendly or knowledgeable. I'd recommend this office over any other one.

  • First time trying the Pineapple Express. Their Delta-8 is the best in the city. I’ve tried other dispensaries and health centers’ Delta-8 and they don’t compare. If you’re looking for a Sativa or Indica vibe, sour d, og kush, blueberry, Miracle Leaf has got you. I personally had a high tolerance for Delta-9 but I took a month off and switched to Delta-8 and the high is really nice. 10/10

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the Orlando office a dispensary?
No. The S Orange Ave office is a physician certification clinic. A qualified doctor reviews whether you meet a qualifying condition under Florida law and, when appropriate, records a certification in the state registry. Any cannabis product is purchased separately at a licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center.
Where is the Orlando clinic located?
The clinic is on S Orange Ave in Orlando, in the SoDo district just south of downtown near the Orlando Health hospital campus. S Orange Ave is a main north-south route, so the location is convenient for patients across the Orlando metro and Orange County.
What should I bring to my Orlando appointment?
Bring a valid Florida-issued ID or other proof of Florida residency, plus any medical records documenting a qualifying condition. The state registry verifies residency before approving an application, so part-year residents should bring proof of a current Florida address.
What conditions qualify under the Florida program?
Florida Statute 381.986 lists qualifying conditions including cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV and AIDS, PTSD, ALS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis, plus a comparable-class clause and chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying condition. A physician determines eligibility during the evaluation.
How does the registry process work after my visit?
After a qualifying physician records your certification, you apply to the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry and pay the state application fee. Once the state approves your registration, your registry identification lets you purchase from any licensed treatment center in Florida.
