St. Augustine certification clinic
Miracle Leaf® St. Augustine Medical Marijuana Doctors
We are the certification office on US-1 just south of the old city, the road most of southern St. Johns County already drives. We see neighbors from St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach, and the inland communities for the Florida medical marijuana evaluation and walk you through the state registry one step at a time. We are a doctor's office, not a dispensary.

About this clinic
About Miracle Leaf® St. Augustine
St. Augustine was founded in 1565, the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the country, and it sits at the center of St. Johns County between the historic downtown on Matanzas Bay and the beaches across the inlet. South of the old city, US-1 carries most of the through-traffic, and that is exactly where we put our Miracle Leaf® office. Inside, one of our physicians handles your evaluation for the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry. We certify patients here. We do not sell cannabis.
On the county's main north-south route
US-1 is the spine of southern St. Johns County, running below the historic district and tying into the SR-312 and SR-207 crossings that reach St. Augustine Beach, the Crescent Beach area, and the inland communities toward Hastings. We chose US-1 on purpose, because it is a road most of you across the southern half of the county already drive, instead of asking you to fight your way into the congested downtown grid. This corner of Florida is home to a sizable veteran community, and we keep our office easy to reach and our visits unhurried for the neighbors we serve.
What happens at your visit
When you sit down with one of our physicians, they review your history and decide whether your condition is recognized under Florida law. If it qualifies, a certification gets entered in the state registry, which is the step that lets you complete your own state registration. We handle first-time certifications and renewals both at the US-1 office.
What to bring
Bring a Florida photo ID or other proof of a Florida address and records that document your condition. If you live in the St. Augustine area only part of the year, bring current Florida-address proof too, because the registry verifies residency before it clears an application. Call us first if you are unsure what counts and we will tell you exactly what to bring.
A clinic, not a dispensary
Fla. Stat. 381.986 keeps certification and purchase apart, and we handle only the first. We provide the physician certification here. Buying product comes later, at a separately licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, after the state approves your registration. There are dispensaries right along the US-1 corridor if you qualify, but the clinic and the treatment center are different businesses under the law.
State physician registry verification
The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit
Preparing for Your Appointment
What to bring
- Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
- Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
- List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.
Before you arrive
- Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
- Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
- Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.
During the visit
A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. The physician evaluation itself takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.
After the visit
Miracle Leaf® specializes in guiding patients through each step of the process during and after the appointment. Miracle Leaf® has over 8 years of experience working with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR).
Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.
