About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Pearland

If you drive the south side of the metro, you know Beltway 8, the Sam Houston Tollway, and the way its southern arc runs right along the seam between south Houston and Pearland. We set up on S Sam Houston Pkwy E on that southern beltway, so neighbors on both sides of the Harris and Brazoria county line have a Compassionate Use office close to home. Miracle Leaf® is a doctor's office for your Texas Compassionate Use Program evaluation, not a dispensary. Texas runs a prescription program here, not a card, and we handle the physician side of it.

On the southern Beltway 8 arc

The southern stretch of Beltway 8 ties together the south Houston neighborhoods near Almeda and Hobby Airport with the Pearland subdivisions that keep spreading down SH-288 and Broadway St. We opened right on the tollway frontage near the Pearland line, on a route south-metro folks already drive every day, so a Compassionate Use evaluation is within easy reach for both the Harris County and Brazoria County communities out this way.

What the physician evaluation covers

One of our CURT-registered physicians, registered with the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas, goes through your medical history and decides whether your condition qualifies under Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 487. If it does, the doctor enters a low-THC cannabis prescription into the registry. There's no card in Texas; that prescription on file is what gives you access.

Bring with you

Bring a Texas photo ID or other proof of a Texas address, along with any records that document your condition. The program is for Texas residents only and doesn't honor out-of-state medical cards, so both your residency proof and your condition records help the physician with the eligibility decision. Not sure what counts? Call us first and we'll tell you exactly what to bring.

A clinic, not a dispensing organization

Under Chapter 487, a CURT-registered physician has to enter the prescription before any low-THC cannabis can be obtained, and the Department of Public Safety runs the registry. We handle that evaluation and the prescription, and nothing else. You fill the prescription afterward through a licensed Texas dispensing organization, a separate, state-licensed business, often by secure home delivery right to your door.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. The physician evaluation itself takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.
