Price varies by location. Each Miracle Leaf clinic is independently operated; the figure above is the maximum allowed across the network. Call your nearest clinic for the exact price.

Miracle Leaf® Pricing

A full-term initial evaluation at Miracle Leaf® is up to $199, and each recertification is up to $149. Those are the maximum prices allowed across the network. Shorter certification options start at $99. Every Miracle Leaf clinic is independently operated and each franchisee sets its own price at or below the network maximum, so pricing varies by clinic. Check your local clinic page or call for specifics.

State program fees are separate from the visit price. Those fees are set and collected by the state, not by Miracle Leaf, and they are paid directly to the state program.

What the $199 Covers, and Why the Term Matters

The full-term evaluation covers the entire 210-day certification period, which is the longest a Florida physician may issue under Fla. Stat. §381.986. It is not a shorter certification that sends you back for another paid visit in a few weeks.

That distinction is the one most price comparisons miss. A lower advertised visit price can cover a shorter period, so the cheaper first visit becomes the more expensive year. What matters is the cost per certification period, not the number on the first invoice.

Shorter options are available and start at $99. They cover about three months instead of the full 210 days and do not include a Request for Exemption (RFE). For most patients an RFE is not part of a standard certification, so the shorter option is a real choice rather than a stripped one. Ask your clinic which fits you.

How Much Does a Medical Marijuana Card Cost?

A medical marijuana card cost has two separate parts. First is the clinic visit or evaluation fee, up to $199 for a full-term initial evaluation and up to $149 for a recertification, with shorter options from $99. Second is the state program fee paid directly to the state, which is $77.75 a year in Florida, $30 for a five-year card in Georgia, and none in Texas.

Evaluation figures are the network maximum. Each independently operated clinic sets its own price at or below that maximum, so your total may be lower. Florida also charges a separate $15 state fee to replace a lost card.

What Does a Medical Card Cost Include?

The cost covers two things. The clinic visit includes your physician evaluation and time to ask the doctor questions about your certification at no extra charge. The separate state program fee covers your state registration or registry card. Any product you buy later at a licensed dispensary is a separate cost. There is no charge from Miracle Leaf® for Florida exemptions.

Why Do Medical Card Prices Vary?

Prices vary because Miracle Leaf clinics are independently operated franchises. Each franchisee sets the visit price for the clinic they operate, within a maximum that the network allows. State program fees vary too, because each state sets its own fee. That is why the total can differ by state and by store.

What Are the State Program Fees?

State program fees are set by each state and paid directly to the state, separate from the clinic visit fee. As of 2026, Florida's OMMU charges $77.75 per year under Fla. Stat. 381.986. Georgia's medical cannabis registry charges $30 for a five-year card under O.C.G.A. 31-2A-18. Texas TCUP has no state card or fee under HSC Chapter 487.

How to Compare Medical Card Prices

Advertised visit prices are not the same thing as what you will pay. Compare the full first-year total instead, and check four things for any provider you consider.

  1. How many days does the certification cover? This is the question that changes the math. Florida allows up to 210 days. A visit priced below the market often certifies for a shorter period, so you pay again sooner. A Miracle Leaf® full-term evaluation covers the full 210 days.
  2. Does the quoted price include the state fee? It usually does not. In Florida that is $77.75 on top, paid to the state, and every patient pays it regardless of clinic.
  3. What does the recertification cost, and how often? The recurring fee matters more over time than the first visit. At Miracle Leaf it is up to $149 per 210-day period.
  4. Are questions, paperwork, or exemptions billed separately? At Miracle Leaf there is no extra charge to ask the physician about your certification, and no charge for a Request for Exemption filed as part of a full-term evaluation.
  5. Is the quote for an in-person or telehealth visit? Florida requires the initial certification in person under §381.986(4)(a), so a telehealth-only price does not apply to a first-time Florida patient.

Continuity of Care Across the Network

Cost is not only what you pay per visit. It is also what happens when your physician moves on. Because Miracle Leaf clinics share one network, your records stay with the network rather than with a single office, and another network physician can pick up your care with your full history already in hand instead of restarting you as a new patient. Each physician still makes an independent clinical judgment when certifying you, as Florida law requires.

Pricing by State and Store

State programs differ, and the visit price can vary by store. For state-specific cost detail, see the Florida medical marijuana card page, the Georgia Low THC Oil registry page, or the Texas evaluation cost page. The exact total that applies to you, including the state fee for your program, is best confirmed by your nearest clinic. Call for state and store specifics before you book.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does an initial evaluation cost at Miracle Leaf®?
The initial physician evaluation is up to $199, and that covers the full 210-day certification period Florida allows, not a shorter term. That figure is the maximum allowed across the Miracle Leaf® network, and each independently operated clinic sets its own price at or below it. The state program fee is separate. Pricing varies by clinic, so check your local clinic page or call for specifics.
How long does the $199 evaluation cover?
The full 210 days, which is the longest certification period a Florida physician may issue under Fla. Stat. §381.986. A lower advertised price elsewhere may cover a shorter period, which means paying for another visit sooner, so compare the length of the certification alongside the price. Certification length and pricing vary by clinic; check your local clinic page or call for specifics.
Do you offer a lower-cost option?
Yes. Shorter certification options start at $99 for a first visit and cover about three months rather than the full 210 days. That option does not include a Request for Exemption (RFE). Availability and pricing vary by clinic, so check your local clinic page or call for specifics.
How much does a card renewal cost?
A recertification is up to $149, which is the maximum allowed across the Miracle Leaf® network, with each independently operated clinic setting its own price at or below it. In Florida the physician recertification recurs every 210 days and is separate from the $77.75 annual OMMU card fee.
How much is a medical marijuana card in Florida?
Up to $276.75 for the first year. That is up to $199 for the initial physician evaluation at Miracle Leaf®, which is the network maximum, plus the $77.75 annual OMMU state fee paid directly to Florida. After the first year you pay the $77.75 state fee annually and up to $149 per physician recertification every 210 days.
What is the cheapest way to get a medical marijuana card in Florida?
The $77.75 OMMU state fee is unavoidable and every Florida patient pays it regardless of which clinic they use. Beyond that, the lowest advertised visit price is not always the lowest yearly cost, because a cheaper visit can cover a shorter certification period and send you back sooner. Compare the cost per certification period, not the first-visit price. At Miracle Leaf® the full-term evaluation is up to $199 for the full 210 days, shorter options start at $99, and there is no separate charge to ask the physician questions. Pricing varies by clinic, so check your local clinic page or call for specifics.
Why do clinics charge different amounts?
Miracle Leaf® clinics are independently operated franchises. Each franchisee sets the visit price for the clinic they operate, within a maximum allowed price that Miracle Leaf® sets across the network. State program fees, which are separate from the visit price, are paid directly to the state.
Is there a charge to speak with the doctor?
No. You can speak with the doctor about your certification at no extra cost.
Is there a charge for Florida exemptions?
There is no charge from Miracle Leaf® for a Florida Request for Exemption (RFE) when it is filed as part of a full-term evaluation. The shorter certification options that start at $99 do not include an RFE. An RFE is the request to certify a patient outside the standard supply limits, so it does not apply to every patient. Ask your clinic whether your visit includes one.
What happens to my certification if my doctor leaves the clinic?
Your records stay inside the Miracle Leaf® network, so another physician in the network can pick up your care with your full history already in hand rather than starting you over as a new patient. Each physician still makes an independent clinical judgment when they certify you, as Florida law requires.
How do I get exact pricing for my state or store?
Pricing is set by each independently operated clinic, so the visit price can vary by store. Call your nearest Miracle Leaf® clinic for state and store specifics before your visit.
