Miracle Leaf® Miami Beach Medical Marijuana Doctors

A certification clinic up in the North Beach end of the island, on Collins Ave near the Bandshell and the quieter blocks above the South Beach crowds. We see Miami Beach residents and snowbirds for the Florida medical marijuana evaluation. We're a doctor's office, not a dispensary.

About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Miami Beach

If you know the North Beach end of the island, you know it runs at a slower pace than the strip down south. Miracle Leaf® Miami Beach sits at 6808 Collins Ave on the oceanfront stretch north of mid-beach, a short walk from the North Beach Bandshell and the quiet residential blocks that locals are happy to keep to themselves. We opened up here so islanders on this end have a certification office near home instead of fighting traffic down to South Beach. And if Collins is closer for you than Alton Rd, this is your office. We run a separate Miracle Leaf® South Beach clinic over on Alton, so you can pick whichever end of the island you live nearest. We're a doctor's office, not a dispensary; no cannabis is sold on site.

Open every day for residents and snowbirds

The island is a mix of year-round neighbors and folks who only winter here, so we keep daily hours, weekends included. Come on whatever day works. One of our physicians reviews your records, decides whether your condition is recognized under Florida law, and enters the certification that lets you register with the state.

What to bring, including for seasonal residents

A Florida ID or other proof of a Florida address and the records that document your condition are the basics. If you only spend part of the year on the island, bring proof of your temporary Florida address too, since the registry checks residency before it approves you. Street parking along Collins runs tight, so leave a little extra time to find a spot near the office.

A doctor's office, not a dispensary

Florida Statute 381.986 keeps the physician's certification and the retail purchase as two separate licensed steps. We handle the certification. You buy the product afterward at a state-licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, a separate business, once the state approves your registration.

State physician registry verification

The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. A typical visit takes 30 to 45 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the Collins Ave office a dispensary?
No. The office at 6808 Collins Ave is a physician certification clinic. A qualified doctor evaluates whether you meet a qualifying condition under Florida law and, if appropriate, records a certification in the state registry. Cannabis is sold only at a separate licensed treatment center.
Where is the Miami Beach clinic on Collins Ave?
The clinic is at 6808 Collins Ave in the North Beach area of Miami Beach, north of mid-beach and South Beach, on the oceanfront Collins Avenue corridor near the North Beach Bandshell. It is a separate office from the Miracle Leaf® South Beach clinic on Alton Rd.
What should I bring to my first Miami Beach appointment?
Bring a valid Florida-issued ID or proof of Florida residency and any medical records that document a qualifying condition. Seasonal residents should bring proof of a temporary Florida address, since the registry requires residency documentation.
What conditions qualify under the Florida program?
Florida Statute 381.986 lists qualifying conditions including cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV and AIDS, PTSD, ALS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and terminal conditions, plus a comparable class clause and chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying condition. A physician determines eligibility during the evaluation.
Does Florida accept an out-of-state medical card?
No. Florida does not recognize medical cannabis cards issued by other states. Seasonal and part-year residents must complete a Florida certification and register with the state under the same rules as permanent residents.
