About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Lady Lake

If you live up this way, you know Lady Lake sits where three counties meet in north-central Florida, Lake brushing up against Sumter and Marion, and where the southern edge of The Villages spills across the county line. You'll find us right on US Hwy 441, the commercial spine that strings together the shopping plazas, medical offices, and town squares of this growing retirement region. Miracle Leaf® is a doctor's office for your Florida medical marijuana certification, not a dispensary.

Right on the road everyone drives

US-441 is the road just about everyone in this area travels, running from the Lady Lake town center north toward Ocala and south through The Villages and the Wildwood commercial district. A lot of our neighbors here are retirees spread across Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties, and they reach the Lady Lake plazas along that same corridor. We set up on 441 so we're on the route you're already driving for your daily errands.

What happens at your visit

One of our physicians sits down with you, reviews your medical history, and decides whether your condition is recognized under Florida law. If it qualifies, that decision is recorded as a certification in the state registry, which is the step that lets you register with the state. We see new patients and renewals both.

What to bring

Bring a Florida photo ID or other proof of a Florida address, plus any records that document your condition. A lot of folks up here split the year between states, so if that's you, bring proof of your current Florida address too, since the registry checks residency before it approves you. Not sure what counts? Give us a call first and we'll tell you exactly what to bring.

A clinic, not a treatment center

Under Fla. Stat. 381.986, Florida keeps the physician certification and the retail purchase as two separate licensed steps. We handle the certification here. You buy the product afterward at a state-licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, a separate business, once the state approves your registration.

State physician registry verification

The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. The physician evaluation itself takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Miracle Leaf® specializes in guiding patients through each step of the process during and after the appointment. Miracle Leaf® has over 8 years of experience working with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR).

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the Lady Lake office a dispensary?
No. The US Hwy 441 office is a physician certification clinic. A qualified doctor reviews whether you meet a qualifying condition under Florida law and, when appropriate, records a certification in the state registry. Any cannabis product is purchased separately at a licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center.
Where is the Lady Lake clinic located?
The clinic is on US Hwy 441 in Lady Lake, in northern Lake County near the edge of The Villages. US-441 is the main corridor through the area, so the location is convenient for patients in Lady Lake, The Villages, and the surrounding Lake, Sumter, and Marion county communities.
What should I bring to my Lady Lake appointment?
Bring a valid Florida-issued ID or other proof of Florida residency, plus any medical records that document a qualifying condition. Many residents in this area are seasonal, so if you live here only part of the year, bring proof of a current Florida address for the state registry.
What conditions qualify under the Florida program?
Florida Statute 381.986 lists qualifying conditions including cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV and AIDS, PTSD, ALS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis, plus a comparable-class clause and chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying condition. A physician determines eligibility during the evaluation.
Does Florida accept an out-of-state medical card?
No. Florida does not recognize medical cannabis cards issued by other states. Part-year and seasonal residents must complete a Florida certification and register with the state under the same rules as permanent residents.
