About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Oakland Park

We're at 4001 N Federal Hwy, on the US-1 stretch just north of Fort Lauderdale near the Oakland Park Boulevard crossing. Our address actually sits right on the line where Oakland Park meets Fort Lauderdale, so we're handy for folks in the East Side district, the waterfront Coral Ridge neighborhoods, nearby Wilton Manors, and the northern reach of Fort Lauderdale proper. Miracle Leaf® here is a doctor's office for your certification. We don't stock or sell cannabis.

Hours that shift by the day

Our hours change a bit through the week, with different open and close times and a shorter Saturday window, so a quick phone call to confirm a physician is on hand is the surest way to get seen. At your visit one of our doctors reviews your history, decides whether your condition is one Florida recognizes, and enters the certification that allows state registration. We see new and returning patients both.

What to bring

A Florida ID or other proof of residency and records of your condition cover the essentials, and you can do the portal intake before you arrive. There's surface parking right at the Federal Highway site.

A clinic, not a treatment center

Florida Statute 381.986 calls for a physician's certification before you can register and buy from a licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, which is a separate state-licensed business. We handle the certification step only. Oakland Park does not allow dispensaries inside city limits, so once you're approved you'll pick up your medication at a treatment center in a neighboring community. The purchase happens later, elsewhere, after state approval.

State physician registry verification

The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. The physician evaluation itself takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Miracle Leaf® specializes in guiding patients through each step of the process during and after the appointment. Miracle Leaf® has over 8 years of experience working with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR).

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

What patients say

  • I love this place! They are always so nice and helpful. The main person I deal with is Heidi. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve needed help and she is always patient, professional, kind and supportive. She always adds at the end of a conversation, if you need anything else I’m here to help you. I only have compliments for her over the years I have been coming to this place. I have never experienced anything but feeling welcome and she makes it a happy place to come to. I even had my friend switch to this place and the doctor here. Heidi took care of her and helped her through the process and she is so happy she switched over. She is the best of the best!

  • After a bad experience with another location, I found the Oakland park office. . . Heidi and Dr. B always gives prompt, efficient service. The Doctor listens to you and does not Rush. This location is the best.
    John Crick
  • Excellent and knowledgeable staff. The doctor was extremely attentive and never made me feel like I was being “processed” along. To be honest, I was extremely impressed with the professionalism in which the company projected and managed themselves in. I know who to refer people towards when the conversation were to ever arise.

  • You have always been helpful and supportive of my treatment. Could you please send me the doctor’s full name and license number in the event I need to have a dispensary update my profile and order in their system?
