Qualifying conditions across three state programs
Whether a medical condition qualifies you for medical cannabis depends on the state you live in. Miracle Leaf® physicians certify patients in Florida, Georgia, and Texas, and each of those three states runs a separate program with its own enumerated qualifying-condition list, its own evidence threshold, and its own evaluation rules.
Florida certifies under Fla. Stat. 381.986 through the Office of Medical Marijuana Use. Georgia certifies under O.C.G.A. 16-12-200 et seq., commonly known as Haleigh's Hope Act, through the Georgia Department of Public Health Low-THC Oil Patient Registry, with dispensary licensing handled separately by the Georgia Medical Cannabis Commission. Texas certifies under Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 487, the Compassionate Use Program, administered by the Department of Public Safety.
Use the condition cards below to read the clinical evidence summary for each qualifying condition, including the NASEM evidence level and the ICD-10 code, and to see whether that condition is listed in Florida, Georgia, and Texas.
How the three programs compare
Florida runs a broad medical program covering flower, edibles, vapes, and oil with one of the largest qualifying-condition lists in the country. Georgia runs a low-THC-oil-only program capped at 5% THC by weight, with a narrower enumerated list and no smokable flower or traditional edibles. Texas runs a low-THC program on a physician prescription with no patient registration fee and no mailed state card.
A Miracle Leaf® physician reviews your records against the qualifying-condition list of your state at every evaluation and determines eligibility. No clinic can promise an outcome before a doctor has reviewed your situation.
