About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Margate

We're at 322 S State Rd 7, on the State Road 7 corridor, also known as US-441, in northern Broward County between Coconut Creek to the north and North Lauderdale to the south. We see folks from all over, central Margate, the neighborhoods east toward Pompano Beach, the Coral Springs and Coconut Creek communities up north, and plenty of commuters peeling off the Sawgrass Expressway. We know a lot of our neighbors here are veterans, and we're glad to help. Miracle Leaf® here is a doctor's office for your certification. No cannabis is sold or stored at this address.

Hours that fit a working day

We start late morning and run through the evening, with a full Saturday too, which makes us one of the easier offices to reach after work or on a weekend. One of our physicians looks at whether your history meets a condition Florida recognizes and, if it does, files the certification that lets you register with the state. We schedule first-time and renewing patients both.

What to bring

There's surface parking right at the plaza, so the visit itself is about all you need to plan around. Bring a Florida ID or other proof of residency and the medical records that back up your condition. Filling out the portal intake beforehand keeps things quick.

A clinic, not a treatment center

Under Fla. Stat. 381.986, the certification a physician records is the step that comes first. Buying product comes afterward and only at a state-licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, an entirely separate business. Margate itself does not allow dispensaries inside city limits, so once you're approved you'll pick up your medication at a treatment center in a neighboring community such as Coconut Creek. We stay on the medical side of that line.

State physician registry verification

The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. A typical visit takes 30 to 45 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

  • I came in a couple of minutes before close and Tamyra got me all settled. The service was friendly and precise. And even though at first my experience wasn’t going so well she found a way to turn it around. I’m glad this location is closest to my home, because I will be coming back. Great work guys and thanks for understanding my situation.
