About this clinic

About Miracle Leaf® Fort Lauderdale

We're at 719 E Broward Blvd, right in the middle of downtown Fort Lauderdale, a few blocks off the Las Olas Boulevard shopping and dining strip and close to the county government center and courthouse complex. The downtown setting makes us the easy central Broward stop, simple to fold into a workday for the lawyers, civil servants, and downtown neighbors who fill this part of the city. Miracle Leaf® here is a doctor's office for your certification, not a place that sells cannabis.

Downtown, six days a week

Working right out of the urban core, we keep hours six days a week for folks already in or near downtown. One of our physicians reviews your history, decides whether your condition is one Florida recognizes, and records the certification that lets you register with the state. We see new and recertifying patients both.

What to bring, and a parking note

Downtown street and garage parking is plentiful but fills up during business hours, so give yourself a few extra minutes near the office. Bring a Florida ID or other proof of residency and records of your condition, and if you do the portal intake ahead of time the visit goes quicker.

A clinic, not a treatment center

Florida Statute 381.986 keeps the physician's certification as the first step, before you can register and buy at a licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, a separate business. We provide the evaluation and the certification only. The purchase comes later, once the state approves your registration, at one of the treatment centers spread across the downtown thoroughfares.

State physician registry verification

The Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains a public registry of qualified physicians. Before your visit, look up your certifying physician through the OMMU qualified physician search. Access date: 2026-06-01.

Plan your visit

Preparing for Your Appointment

What to bring

  • Government-issued photo ID showing your state residency (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
  • Medical records documenting your qualifying condition. Recent diagnosis notes, treatment records, imaging reports, or prescriptions all help the physician confirm eligibility.
  • List of current medications including supplements and over-the-counter treatments.

Before you arrive

  • Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. The visit involves a routine medical conversation, not a physical procedure.
  • Bring payment for the evaluation fee. The clinic accepts most major payment methods. State program fees are paid separately to the state.

During the visit

A licensed physician reviews your records, discusses your symptoms, and determines whether you meet a qualifying condition. The physician evaluation itself takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, the physician completes the certification step required by your state program.

After the visit

Miracle Leaf® specializes in guiding patients through each step of the process during and after the appointment. Miracle Leaf® has over 8 years of experience working with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR).

Approved patients receive instructions for state registration. You purchase products separately from a state-licensed treatment center. Miracle Leaf® clinics do not dispense or sell cannabis products.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the Las Olas office a dispensary?
No. The office on E Broward Blvd is a physician certification clinic. A qualified doctor evaluates whether you meet a qualifying condition under Florida law and, if appropriate, records a certification in the state registry. Cannabis is sold only at a separate licensed treatment center.
Where is the Las Olas clinic?
The clinic is at 719 E Broward Blvd in downtown Fort Lauderdale, a few blocks from the Las Olas Boulevard shopping and dining district and close to the Broward County government center. Street and garage parking are common downtown.
What should I bring to my first Las Olas appointment?
Bring a valid Florida-issued ID or proof of Florida residency and any medical records that document a qualifying condition. Completing your intake form in the patient portal before you arrive helps shorten the visit.
What conditions qualify under the Florida program?
Florida Statute 381.986 lists qualifying conditions including cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV and AIDS, PTSD, ALS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and terminal conditions, plus a comparable class clause and chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying condition. A physician determines eligibility during the evaluation.
Does Florida accept an out-of-state medical card?
No. Florida does not recognize medical cannabis cards issued by other states. Seasonal and part-year residents must complete a Florida certification and register with the state under the same rules as permanent residents.
