Telehealth Medical Marijuana Evaluations

Miracle Leaf® provides secure, confidential telehealth evaluations and renewals for residents of Florida, Georgia, and Texas. For eligible patients, the entire visit happens from home. You speak with a state-registered physician over a private video connection, and the certification is submitted directly to your state program.

Who Can Use Telehealth

Telehealth eligibility depends on your state program and whether this is an initial visit or a renewal.

Florida requires an in-person evaluation for the initial certification under Florida Statute 381.986(4)(a). In Florida, telehealth is available for renewals and returning patients only, because the in-person physician relationship must already be on file with the Office of Medical Marijuana Use. First-time Florida patients book an in-clinic visit at one of our Florida locations.

Georgia renewals for the Low-THC Oil Registry Card can be completed by telehealth once you are an established patient. Texas Compassionate Use Program renewals can also be conducted by telehealth under the prescription-based model, at the cadence set by your TCUP physician. This page does not promise initial Florida telehealth certification, because state law does not allow it.

How a Telehealth Visit Works

The telehealth path is built to be simple. Here is the process end to end.

  1. Start the online intake. Begin your request and choose telehealth where eligible.
  2. Complete the 5-step intake. Provide your contact details, state of residence, qualifying-condition information, and any medical records that support your evaluation.
  3. Await confirmation from a representative. A Miracle Leaf representative reviews your intake, confirms telehealth eligibility for your state and visit type, and schedules your video evaluation.
  4. Get your card. After the physician completes the evaluation and submits your certification to the state registry, you complete any required state steps and receive your card.

Schedule Now to start the intake.

Disclaimer

This page is informational only and is not medical or legal advice. Telehealth eligibility is set by each state program and may change. Florida initial certification must be conducted in person under Florida Statute 381.986. Certification by a physician does not guarantee state approval. Consult a qualified physician for clinical questions and a licensed attorney in your state for legal questions.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How does a telehealth medical marijuana appointment work?
You start the online intake, complete the 5-step intake form, then await confirmation from a Miracle Leaf representative. The whole telehealth path is handled from home for eligible patients.
Can I get my first Florida medical marijuana card by telehealth?
No. Florida requires an in-person evaluation for the initial certification under Florida Statute 381.986(4)(a). Telehealth in Florida is for renewals and returning patients only, because the in-person physician relationship must already be on file with the state. First-time Florida patients book an in-clinic visit.
Can I renew my Georgia Low-THC Oil card by telehealth?
Yes. Georgia renewal visits for the Low-THC Oil Registry Card are primarily conducted by telehealth once you are an established patient. Bring your prior registry information to the visit so the physician can pick up your recertification.
